Our Projects

We have completed more than 400 projects nationwide making Emergent Energy the most experienced commercial-scale solar company in South Africa. Our footprint and expertise have enabled us to gain unmatched industry-related knowledge.

Our experience has empowered us to adequately assist many businesses to optimise their investment opportunity and ease their energy transition.

MWEB

System: 373kWp
Location: Western Cape

The MWeb building in Parow (WC) houses the entire data centre infrastructure for their ISP and hosting business. Therefore, the tenant could not experience any power supply interruption and the tie-in had to be meticulously planned to avoid downtime.
Emergent Energy worked closely with the landlord, tenant and consulting engineers to alter the site reticulation and create an upstream point of connection for the solar plant. The UPS and diesel generator were able to run smoothly during the solar tie-in which was a great success.

MegaPark

System: 2 950 kWp
Location: Western Cape

A large industrial business park with an 80 000m2 lettable area. The
construction of the complex is made up of multiple buildings, ranging from
steel portal frames to reinforced concrete frames with both brick infill and
IBR cladding under multi-pitched roofs. As well as complex existing MV
reticulation. Over two phases Emergent Energy was able provide a solution
over multiple roofs and tie-ins to meet the electrical need of the park,
allowing the landlords to become more competitive and retain key tenants.

Leeu Estates

System: 224 kWp Carport + 540 kWp Ground Mount
Location: Western Cape

At Leeu Estates, luxury isn’t just seen — it’s felt. Founded by visionary
entrepreneur Mr. Singh, this exclusive Cape Winelands retreat offers a
curated experience, where architecture, vineyards, and fine dining create
sophistication. Guests enjoy world-class tastings, each sip and bite
reflecting craftsmanship. To secure its future, the estate embraced
sustainable energy. A bespoke solar system blends seamlessly into the
landscape—sleek black carports and handcrafted arrays following the
vineyard’s contours. Rather than disrupting the view, it enhances it.
